Cousins

Today is my parents wedding anniversary. So , I made them a fruit bouquet. This is the first time I have ever attempted one. I think it turned out very well. It was yummy too.

Connor and Logan arrived today. Jen and Colin are out house hunting and we will be watching them for a while. I am excited for Lex to have boy cousins around to play with.
The first thing everyone did was chase each other around the yard.

Growing still

Ben started school last week and he already is back in the swing of things, begrudgingly though. He is such a hard worker. Good luck with this semester babe!Lex had another dr. appointment. It was just another check-up. He is doing well. He is in the 30th percentile for height and 10th for weight. He isn't so big but what can you expect from ME. He had 2 shots and did very well. Lex was so much fun yesterday! He was being so funny. He was a little entertainer trying to make everyone laugh. He did a good job.
Lex was all over the place. Playing with great gma's walker, he thought he was being pretty funny stealing it away from her.
He was having fun with gma. He was out of control.


We were watching the new show yesterday, Wipeout. If you missed it, it was hilarious. I loved it and was laughing so much. Lex thought he would join in the fun.
He sure was playing hard. I think he might even still be teething? He was biting everything and hard. He would even shake he was biting so hard.
Lex just didn't want to leave. G-ma put him on the car and he stomped and stomped. It was so cute.

Playdates

On Monday A bunch of girls from high school got together. This was the only picture I took. I am such a slacker. It was so fun to see all their kids. They are all so adorable. You can tell which kid belongs to who. I am so glad Alison came with her newborn son even!
Lex is still shy so it is good to go play with other kids and get me out of the house.
The other day, our friends asked us to watch their adorable daughter, which I gladly accepted with Rachel's help. Thanks so much Rach!

Jules, is a sweetheart. She is so well behaved and fun.
Before Lex got his haircut, you can notice he went swimming for the 2nd time this summer. I can't really call it swimming, he likes to splash around and drink the water, GROSS.
We went swimming with Kelsey, Alyssa, and Kayson.
Lex really didn't like getting in.
They were so much fun to play with. Kayson was out of control. He loved to jump in and out. He was not afraid, I loved it.
So, anyone who wants to get out of the house call me. I love play dates. Lex is still shy and I want to break him of that. Let's play and have a fun summer!

More Fun

Friday Night
Daniel and Litany were visiting. We decided to go to the Strawberry Days Rodeo. It was a lot of fun! Litany has 3 weeks to go until her son arrives. She is amazing. to travel with that much time left.My allergies were horrible. I was sneezing and blowing my nose all over the place. Here is me and my handsome husband. I am so glad he came! It is not his favorite thing. He left early though to put Lex asleep. * Jen, see look a picture of me.

Saturday
We went to the baby contest. Jessica and Julian came too.

After the long weekend Lex cried as we left grandma and grandpas house. He fell asleep fast.

Finally, Lex's First Haircut!

Yes, I know it is about freaking time! Some of you, like my mom are upset. I think it was time!

I would say for half of it, he did pretty good.

He had to sit on my lap because he would not sit on his own. I think he is having trust issues ever since his eye surgery.

The girls who cut his hair is named Brooke. She was very good and very patient, good thing!See the sucker that was in his mouth? This is what happened, eewww.
