Winter Wonderland

Since we had plenty of snow this weekend.... we decided to have some fun with it!
Charles and I decided to built a igloo. We use to attempt when we were younger but only ever finished one before this glorious one.I call it a "beehive". It is not the prettiest thing but we finished it. Charles, me, Rach, Kelsey, and Adam all helped.

I can even get in it and almost stand up inside. The kids love playing in it.

In the front yard the kids wanted to build a snowman.
Here they are trying to make snow angels. I don't think Lex really got the whole concept.
Here is all of us who built the snowman. Ta da!
It turned out to be a very good snowman if I don't say so myself.
It was tough work.

Lex helped by cleaning off my car. It said it was a "mess".

Lex was in charge of putting one of the snowman's arms in.
Cute Kelsey and Alyssa in all their snow gear.
Lex tried rolling the big ball of snow. He had so much fun in the snow. I am glad we were finally able to play in the snow before winter was over!
I have to admit Charles did most of it. He did all the heavy lifting. There was no way we could have done it without Uncle Chucky. Love you.

Merry Christmas 2009

We had an amazing Christmas this year. We were able to go see grandma Karen and grandpa Layne. We missed them for Thanksgiving. While we were there Lex loved to play with his cousin Jace. He still is talking about him. Lex had a lot of fun and I didn't mind the nice Las Vegas weather.
He has now started to even smile for the camera. YAY!!!

Lex really got into the present opening this year. He kept saying, "wow", and "oh cool". It really made Christmas fun for us. He was great at ripping through the paper.

Rachel and I had our usual tradition of wearing matching pajamas. Jen we missed you.
We got a wii and Lex LOVES it!!!!
My husband spoiled me. He also got me a new camera. A eos Cannon Rebel t1I. I am super excited. I still don't know how to use it and probably need a lot of practice.
My mom made Lex his stocking. It has Elmo on it. I love it and so did Lex.

Lex got a ton of cars for Christmas and was in heaven. Grandpa Norman and grandma Judy gave him a race track with cars. Grandma Karen made a lovely blanket for all of us and gave Lex a tent to play in and a cool dragon. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas cause we sure did!!!
